When you are one of the top models in the world, and have been for many years now, you have to make sure that you take care of your body and keep yourself looking in great shape for as long as possible, so that you can have that longevity in your modelling career. That is exactly what supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio has been doing for a long time now and it has clearly been working for her.
Alessandra Ambrosio has been at the top of the modelling industry for decades now, showing time and again just why she has become so popular, which is down to a lot of hard work. Alessandra has been talking about how she has to work out and how it has changed over the years, admitting that she has never liked running, although she does still force herself to do it.
Ambrosio explained, "I think that my workout regime has changed more after giving birth to my children as I didn't really exercise before. I think it's very important to lead a healthy lifestyle, which includes a balanced diet and exercise. I have never been a fan of running, but lately I've been doing it and also have figured out different ways to incorporate cardio in my everyday routine."
She added, "Instead of running indoors I go for a run in my neighbourhood, take a hike with friends or play volleyball at the beach. I would say [I work out] an hour to an hour and a half a day. It all depends on what I'm doing that day. If I'm going on a hike or playing volleyball with my friends it might be longer but I don't usually spend more than hour and a half in the gym. I usually focus on my glutes."
