While there has been and still is a lot of talk about the personal life of Amber Heard and her relationship with Johnny Depp and what the two of them are now going through, we would much prefer to focus on the career of the actress, who has some very big projects coming up. Amber is a talented star and it is no surprise that she is beginning to land some very big roles in some of the top movies around.
As most of you will be well aware, Amber Heard will take on the role of Mera in the DC Extended Universe and we will get to see her first appearing in the Justice League movie, before then moving on to have a bigger role in the Aquaman film. However, before we get to see Amber on the big screen in the role of Mera, she will first appear in the new film What's the Point?, in the very near future.
This new ensemble comedy has already been filmed and boasts some exciting names, but is still awaiting it's official release date. As well as starring Amber Heard, What's the Point? also features Chace Crawford, Mary Steenburgen, Ed Helms, and Paul Reiser, while Lake Bell has written, directed, and stars in the film, which is expected to land in early 2017.
While we are big fans of Teresa Palmer and we are looking forward to seeing what she and the rest of the cast have to offer in What's the Point?, we have to admit that we cannot wait to see her appearing as Mera on the big screen. The Justice League movie will open on November 17, 2017 in both the US and the UK, while the Aquaman film is released on July 27, 2018. We cannot wait!
