The Marvel Cinematic Universe is massive and, while we have enjoyed seeing some of the bigger Marvel characters hitting the big screen, it has also been interesting to see how the lesser known characters would get on. One such character is that of Ant-Man, which was released earlier in the year and managed to surprise many people with how impressive it was.
We got to see a flashback scene in Ant-Man, which showed us Janet Van Dyne as The Wasp, sacrificing her own life to help save the world. Meanwhile, actress Evangeline Lilly played the role of her daughter Janet Van Dyne and there has been plenty of talk about Evangeline suiting up as The Wasp in a future Marvel movie, which has fans very excited indeed.
Well now, Evangeline Lilly has been speaking about taking on the role of The Wasp in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealing that she has even had a fitting for the costume. During a Q&A with fans, Evangeline was asked about The Wasp costume, to which she replied, "I was scanned for #TheWasp suit, but then I got pregnant. Let's hope I fit it again! #ineedtime!"
It was previously revealed that there were initially plans for Evangeline Lilly to debut as The Wasp in Captain America: Civil War but, due to the amount of characters that are already set to appear in the film, those plans were scrapped. Some fans have suggested that we will still get to see Evangeline in the movie in some form, so we will just have to wait and see.
