The Marvel Cinematic Universe is still going strong, with a huge amount of eagerly anticipated movies heading our way over the course of the next few years. You of the Marvel movies that boasts a huge amount of popular characters, is the upcoming film Captain America: Civil War, which will open next year.
Among the stars appearing in Captain America: Civil War are Anthony Mackie, reprising his role as Sam Wilson aka Falcon, and Paul Rudd, who is back as Scott Lang aka Ant-Man. Anthony has now opened up about working with Paul again, admitting that the two of them had a lot of fun on the set of the movie.
During a recent chat with Cinema Blend, Mackie explained, "Yeah, our relationship is… yeah [laughs]. It grows in Civil War. But that’s Paul Rudd, man. Paul Rudd and I just make fun of each other all the time, so it just carries over into the movie. So I respect his royals – I’m pulling for his royals – but we just make fun of each other all the time."
Captain America: Civil War will be the seventh time that we have seen Chris Evans playing the role of Steve Rogers aka Captain America, with the actor also set to appear in both of the Avengers: Infinity War movies. Following that, it has been suggested that Chris Evans will step down as Captain America, with some people suggesting we could see Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson taking over.
Captain America: Civil War is set to hit the big screen on April 29, 2016 in the UK and May 6, 2016 in the US.
