So, following a long and difficult journey, the Ant-Man movie is finally set to hit the big screen next year and Marvel have finally got the Ant-Man movie that they were looking for. Edgar Wright worked on the project for a very long time but, following creative differences with Marvel, he left the project and Peyton Reed came on board to direct the movie, which boasts a very impressive cast.
Director Peyton Reed has now taken to his official Twitter account to confirm that Ant-Man has now completed shooting, while also teasing a scene from the film involving David Dastmalchian. Peyton first tweeted, "@Dastmalchian Thank YOU! Your performance as ******, especially in the ****** scene with ******, was amazing. I already miss you. #AntMan," while he also wrote, "And that's it! Principal photography on ANT-MAN is now complete. The ants have left the building. Stay tuned..." We will indeed Mr. Reed.
We have no doubt that most of you already know plenty about the Ant-Man movie, with the film being officially described as "Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world."
The cast for the Ant-Man movie will feature such talented Hollywood stars as Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, and Hayley Atwell, among many others. Ant-Man is set to hit the big screen on July 17, 2015 in both the US and the UK. We cannot wait for the first Ant-Man trailer to arrive, which should not be too far away.
