When you hear the name Eastwood, the first person you instantly think of is the Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood, who has been involved in hundreds of films during his long and illustrious career. These days though, we are seeing and hearing more and more from the Eastwood kids, with Scott Eastwood leading the way on the Hollywood scene.
Francesca Eastwood decided to take a different route though, and instead decided to go down the modelling route, as well as studying, determined not to follow in the footsteps of her father Clint Eastwood. However, Francesca has finally given in to the acting bug but, rather than credit her family for it, the stunning star says it was Emma Roberts her got her into it.
Eastwood was talking to WWD, when she revealed, "I tried very hard to convince myself I wanted to do something different, kinda out of left field, and my friend Emma Roberts saw me in a short film and introduced me to her manager. It was like a happy accident."
She added, "With this project, I've really fallen in love with what I'm doing, and I'm really happy with my job. It was the dirtiest thing. There was no make-up except for dirt and sweat, and lots of it. It was actually really gross; there were bugs crawling on us. But it was awesome."
Francesca Eastwood can be seen on the big screen in the new movie Outlaws and Angels, which featured at the Sundance Film Festival back in January and opened on limited release on July 15.
