Wedding Crashers actress Isla Fisher took a break from acting, after giving birth to her child, to become a stay-at-home mother. Isla has now returned to acting, with roles in a number of top films and she has been talking about how much she has enjoyed being back in work.
During an interview with Collider, Fisher explained, "Well, I hadn’t really worked for three years until I took Gatsby — and Bachelorette, which was only a few days — so I’ve been a stay-at-home mom, so coming back to work is rewarding and exciting."
She added, "As fun as it’s been, I definitely miss being at home again, so I’d like to be able to take a big chunk of time off again now and just get back into my sweatpants and stuff my face with pain au chocolat and return to my old life."
Isla Fisher will next appear on the big screen, in the movie The Great Gatsby, which sees her starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton. The Great Gatsby is directed by Baz Luhrmann and is set to be released on May 10 in the UK and May 16 in the UK.
