While there are still some comic book movie fans who are concerned about the amount of characters we are going to see appearing in Avengers: Infinity War, we absolutely love it and cannot wait to see how they all come together on the big screen. Actress Karen Gillan has already appeared in two Marvel movies, playing Nebula in both of the Guardians of the Galaxy films, and Karen has admitted that she loves how important her character is to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
During a recent interview with Screen Rant, Gillan said, "I had no idea that this was where the character was going. I genuinely signed onto the role thinking it was eight days of filming and then I was going to die in the first Guardians. Three movies later and there’s three more to come out it’s, like, crazy."
She added, "It’s funny because I read the Infinity Gauntlet, which is what the new Avengers films are based on, as research for my character because it’s her sort of biggest moment within the Marvel comic book world, and then to find out they’re making a double-bill feature based on that, I was just so excited actually because Nebula gets some really cool stuff."
We have been a big fan of Karen Gillan for many years now and we have loved what she has done with the character Nebula so far, and after hearing what she has had to say about the future for her character, we are very excited to see what the future holds for Nebula.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit the big screen on April 27 in both the US and the UK.
