The Fighter actor Mark Wahlberg, who is the executive producer on the hit HBO show Entourage, has admitted that he would be willing to put up the funds for an Entourage movie, if it actually came to that. Entourage is loosely based around the life of Mark and he stated that an Entourage film must happen.
The 40 year old Wahlberg explained, "I said if I had to finance it myself, I would do it. I was looking at [a promo clip from HBO] and it looks like a movie to me… It's the f**king greatest thing I've ever seen. I certainly hope this has a chance to become a feature film.” He then added, "People are always complaining that the episodes are too short,"
When asked what sort of film an Entourage movie would be likely to resemble, Mark Wahlberg responded, "The Hangover to me is very much like [our show]." The eighth and final season of Entourage continues on Sundays on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK.
