Whenever a band decides to part and go their own separate ways, whether it be for a short hiatus or a permanent split, it is always interesting to see what the individual members decide to go off and do on their own. For the beautiful Mollie King, that is embarking on her own solo music career, following The Saturdays split, and Mollie has admitted that she has struggled a little, without having the other girls their for support.
King explained, "Everything from shooting the videos to photoshoots, I'm just used to having four other girls with me. It's a new experience and I do feel very vulnerable up there on my own, especially when I'm writing the songs about personal experiences and putting it out there to the world."
While the rest of The Saturdays girls might not be right there by her side to support her, Mollie King has admitted that they have been very supportive in her new solo material and have given her some good advice. This has definitely made things a lot easier and calmer for Mollie, although she is still very nervous about releasing her new music.
King added, "Obviously I've got nerves about it coming out as well but all I can do is believe in the project and I do adore my debut track and I love the video. I played the song to the other Saturdays girls and they all really loved it and that means the world to me."
While fans of The Saturdays are eager to hear what Mollie King has to offer as a solo artist, there could still be quite some wait, as the Mollie King debut album is not expected to drop until next year.
