One of the biggest aspects of the Oscars every year would have to be the red carpet, with the Hollywood stars arriving and showing off what they are wearing, while also stopping to speak about the upcoming ceremony. We have already seen a number of stars making their way along the red carpets, as they prepare themselves for the 87th Academy Awards.
Experienced actress Patricia Arquette has finally seen her talent getting the recognition that it deserves, with a nomination for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role award at the 2015 Oscars. Patricia has just made her way up the red carpet and she took the time to talk about her excitement at being nominated for an award for her role in Boyhood.
Speaking on the red carpet, Arquette said, "It feels very surreal. Look, I never imagined these kinds of moments in my life. I did imagine myself helping thousands of people but I never imagined getting any awards. What I'm very excited about is that it has really changed the film communities concept of what people want to see and a lot of small filmmakers have told me that their films got bought because of Boyhood where in the past no one wanted to see them."
We would love to see Patricia Arquette finally win an Oscar and she is certainly in with a shout this year and we cannot wait to find out if she does win the Best Actress in a Supporting Role award at the 87th Academy Awards.
Who do you think will win the award?
