Robbie Amell is following his cousin, Stephen Amell, in more ways than one. The Canadian actor is starring in the CW's The Tomorrow People, which airs following Stephen Amell's Arrow. Wednesdays on the CW is being dubbed Amell Wednesdays. Ironically, Robbie Amell's character's name is Stephen.

Robbie Amell's Stephen leads a special group of newly discovered superhumans. In an interview with IGN, Amell warns to not mistake this for a superhero. He says, "Stephen's not a superhero yet...I just have super powers." The journey for Stephen is a rocky one. The super human resorts to drugs when his powers become activated, because he does not know what is wrong with him. Now that he is part of the Tomorrow People he is learning how to control his powers. He can stop time.
The Tomorrow People is Amell's first leading role. When asked about sharing the night with his cousin, Stephen Amell, Robbie stated that it was just like winning the lottery, because Hollywood is a numbers game. It seems impossible for this to happen. He says, "It's insane."

Stephen Amell is in Arrow on Wednesdays
It might be insane, but we love the double dose of Amell. Tune in Wednesdays on the CW to see if Robbie Amell's Stephen will stop being just a superhuman and become a superhero.
