It was not too long ago that there would not have been too many people in the world who would have known the name Taron Egerton, but the British actor has been putting in some fantastic performances on the big screen, that he is fast becoming one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood.
One of his most famous roles to date, would have to be playing the character Eggsy in the movie Kingsman: The Secret Service, a role which he has reprised for the new movie Kingsman: The Golden Circle. In the new film, British music legend Elton John has a small cameo appearance and Taron has admitted that he was a little overwhelmed at getting to share the set with such a global superstar.
Egerton shared, "'I didn't get to spend that much time with him, but we had one lovely conversation. He's such an icon that you almost forget he is a real person. I still haven't processed that I met him. He was originally supposed to be in the first film. Matthew wanted him and for whatever reason he wasn't able to do it or wasn't sure he wanted to. And then Elton and his partner David were huge fans of the first one. And obviously Elton likes a show and a bit of theatricality."
Kingsman: The Golden Circle is out now in both the US and the UK. Meanwhile, Taron Egerton will next take on the lead role in the new movie Robin Hood Origins, with the actor recently admitting that it is going to be a darker Robin Hood movie, and not like anything we have seen from the character before.
