There have been many different television and movie projects over the years, that have made household names of the stars who have appeared in the projects, leading to them going on to bigger and better things in the future. While some of these stars go on to enjoy hugely successful acting careers, with some very interesting and exciting projects to their names, there are others who never quite manage to hit the heights they once enjoyed.
When the Twilight novels were adapted for the big screen, we saw some young and talented stars becoming household names around the world but, with the acting in the films being criticised, it was always going to be interesting to see how these stars faired in the future. While the likes of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Anna Kendrick have enjoyed the years post Twilight, it is Taylor Lautner who seems to have struggled a bit.
Taylor Lautner got a lot of criticism for his Twilight performances, with many claiming that his acting was wooden and emotionless, while others felt that he was just there to show off his body. Since his Twilight days, Taylor starred alongside Lily Collins in the movie Abduction, which was less than impressive, as well as playing a Frat Boy in Grown Ups 2, as well as the BBC television series Cuckoo.
Meanwhile, Taylor Lautner will next appear on the big screen in the movie Tracers, which co-star Marie Avgeropoulos, and opens on March 20. As well as that, Taylor is also linked to a few other projects for the coming years, as he aims to get himself back up to the heights that he enjoyed in his Twilight days.
While there are many people who love to criticise Taylor Lautner just for the sake of it, the actor is actually very dedicated to his craft. Taylor gained 30 pounds of muscle between the first and second Twilight films, in order not to be recast, while he was also fairly impressive in Cuckoo. Unfortunately, the haters gonna hate, which could mean Lautner struggling in ever win them over!
